We do not test for mold. We remove it. In Florida, the company that tests a home for mold should not be the same company that gets paid to remove it. Testing is done by an independent mold assessor, and we work with them.
Not sure where to start? Call (321) 890-2512 Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM and we will point you the right way.
Why the assessor is independent
An independent assessor has no stake in the job. They take the samples, write up what they found, and say what needs to be removed. That keeps the person who finds the problem from profiting from the fix. After the work is done, they check it again and issue the clearance.
When testing makes sense
- You suspect mold but cannot see it
- You had water damage and want to know if mold followed
- An insurance claim, a lease dispute or a home sale needs a written report
- You want a second set of eyes to confirm the work is finished
If the mold is plainly visible and you just want it gone, you may not need testing first. Call us and we will tell you what makes sense for your job.
What we do instead: mold inspection
A mold inspection with us is a visual inspection and a moisture assessment. We look at where the water came from and what is wet, and we tell you whether a formal assessment is worth it.
Find an independent mold assessor
You can hire any licensed Florida mold assessor. Ask for their license number before you book. Our partner page lists the local pros we trust, and you can also call us and ask.
How the two jobs fit together
- The assessor tests and writes the plan.
- We remove the mold following that plan, with containment so it does not spread.
- The assessor checks the work and issues the clearance.
Mold remediation projects typically take about 10 days from start to finish, including the assessor’s clearance. Learn more about our mold remediation.
